Pets and Watertown's Leash Law: According to Watertown City Code, it is unlawful for any dog or cat to run at large in
within the corporate limits of the City, including within City parks. All animal waste must also be picked up by the pet owner.
Park Hours: All of the City of Watertown parks are open to the public from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Fires: Fires are permitted in grills for cooking of food. Fires are prohibited in all other cases.

Q. What is the Community Center?
A. The Community Center is the building that houses the Watertown City Hall and Council Chambers, the Watertown Library, the
food shelf, and large conference / meeting rooms for events such as weddings and reunions. Meeting rooms in the
Community Center can be rented for various events. For more
information, please call (952) 955-2681.
Q. Can I rent a park building or shelter?
A. Yes, for information on date availability, policies and fees for park facilities call (952) 955-2766.

Q: What amenities are available at each park?
A. A list of all Watertown parks and their amenities is available on the parks amenities page.
Q: Which parks have restrooms available?
A: Highland Park, Rick-Johnson Park, and Evergreen Park have portable bathrooms.
Q: What are the park hours?
A: It shall be unlawful for any person to be present in any public park, playground, or recreational area within the city limits of
the city between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Q: Is alcohol allowed in parks for a social event?
A: Liquor is allowed in a public park or building when such items is offered free of charged to the consumer as part of an organized social
event if the person or party offered or providing the liquor agree to defend the city for any claims that would arise and holds the city harmless.
Q: Where is electricity available?
A: Electricity is available at Highland Park, Evergreen, and Rick-Johnson Park.
