National Night Out

The 28th Annual National Night Out is scheduled for Tuesday, August 2, 2011. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention
awareness, generate support for and participation in local prevention programs, and strengthening neighborhood friendship and police-community partnerships.
The City encourages you to plan an event. Let the City know about your event and we can coordinate visits from local safety patrol.
Cities and neighborhoods celebrate National Night Out with a variety of events and activities such as block parties, cookout, visits from local
police, fire and sheriff departments, flashlight walks, contests, and youth programs. Click here for more information about organization an event and the application for
street closures. Street closures can be requested in conjunction with neighborhood block parties, street dances, parades and special events.
